I came across this picture of a Kirkland Signature Iron on Reddit. Has anyone seen this elsewhere?

Maybe they hid the forged for somewhere else... right on the top line perhaps? or somewhere on the hosel?

I would 100% (and more) buy and demo these first chance I got - especially considering Costco's return policy. If it's as well-designed as their wedges, this is a no-brainer. I think they look fantastic (giant logo aside, of course) - simple, beautiful, and if the price is right (and it will be), this is an incredible (and some would say inevitable) move.

Hopefully the shafts are...adequate. If not, I'm sure there's enough DIY info on the forum to guide me in my first foray into reshafting

Am I crazy? No one else thinks these look good?

Look good so far, would like to see the top line and offset, but I would give them a run, look nice. Is this real, or is it a photo prank.

The head tells the ball what to do, and the ball tells the head where to go.

If it's a prank, it's one I've been waiting for, lol. It tracks, in my opinion - first balls, then putter, then wedges - all well received and reviewed. They've proven that they know how to work well with partners at creating a quality product at a SIGNIFICANT cost savings for consumers. I've played their balls (slightly too spinny off driver for me, so have switched out) and currently play their wedges - and I'm continually impressed with them both, especially at the price-point. Assuming (and it's a big assumption, but still) that the irons are a) real, and b) follow the same rule of craftsmanship, then I will for sure be giving these a go.

I do believe it's real - it's been a few years since they introduced the wedges, and when those came out, there was an interview I read with a Costco chief saying they were looking at designing (or, you know, "designing") a set of irons in the coming year(s), so the timing makes sense to me. Plus, golf is still so hot - makes sense from a retail perspective that they'd release these sooner than later (though, I definitely appreciate that they didn't appear to rush these into the market).

Again, considering the incredible return policy, putting these in the bag for an extended test just makes sense to me. Hoping these make a "sooner than later" appearance in my local store.

If so, I'll be sure to document as best I can.

What's fascinating to me about that is that their site shows only putters and wedges - so I'm wondering if this is a new venture for them as well? Also, their stuff isn't exactly "cheap" ($150-ish wedges, $350+ putters) - again a surprise, given K-Sig's expected price-point.

Maybe itisa prank? Very curious as to what's going down with this.

You asked, I delivered - lol. It's not a club if it doesn't say Forged on it, right? RIGHT?

Now, the question begs asking if the face is forged or if the hosel/body is forged - I'd almost prefer the latter, since then it would (theoretically) be easier to bend after purchase, yes?

I purchased the KS1 Putter for $160 a couple of years ago. I love it.

Top line would have been better!

Wonder how long it will be till they have a complete lineup?

There is a market for these with COSTCO customers. Those buying their gloves, balls, putters and wedges will most likely jump on them. Looking to save a buck and continue doing so. Instead of getting fit, buying a properly fitting set and saying money in the long run. Continually looking for a game thru cheap sets costs more in the long run. A friend of mine has a garage of cheap and sale clubs. Does not believe in purchasing premium golf clubs. Just sayin'. Again life is about choices.

They completely missed the opportunity to have a carbon topline like the Cobra Radspeed, they could have used it to spell out forged and save a little weight to distribute lower.

I'll be interested to see the reviews on these.

Yawn…. I can’t even get a Kirkland RH glove as a LH golfer, at least at retail. I still don’t get why the wedges are 52-56-60. Assuming most Kirkland buyers trend to 15+ handicap, 48-52-56 would make better sense with G.I. PW coming in at 43-44 degrees. At least the initial putter was only a blade. A mallet would be a better fit in the core buyers. Expecting the irons to equally not match to their core purchasers. …Or me as a LH golfer.
